Virtual University Event: UCSF Saturday Night Stories

For the second year running, JMP worked with DPEM to design and create the environment for UCSF’s Saturday Night Stories and due to the pandemic, it turned into a virtual university event.

The clean and simple set featured a large seamless backdrop, and had two filming locations for the speakers from the medical community. One featured crisp white stacked dimensional letters atop a balsam wood base. Colorful accents flanked the letters and brought in the characteristic vibrance of this virtual university event, where featured speakers invite donors to contribute on behalf of the university. The second location featured a curved wall with descending towers, creating a nice textural backdrop for the speakers. With Covid hitting the events industry hard, we are grateful for clients like DPEM and UCSF who value the importance of keeping events like these alive through virtual environments.
