Branded Environment Design & Fabrication: New Balance | Bricks & Wood Pop-Up

The 2025 NBA All-Star Week brought many sponsor activations to San Francisco including New Balance and Bricks & Wood, whose branded environment design represented their partnership in a sleek and exciting way.

When contacted by experiential marketing firm Mirror NYC for a custom built pop-up for the NBA All-Star week, we hopped at the chance to be part of the team. Their client New Balance partnered with lifestyle brand Bricks & Wood on a program called A Different Bounce. The program aims to highlight the diverse ways basketball influences culture. They tasked Mirror NYC with designing an experience that would serve as both a retail pop-up and an introduction to the program. And we collaborated with their team to fabricate their branded environment design.

Working from a beautifully detailed design deck, we drafted up build drawings for each element. The space included four distinct product display walls, a DJ booth, changing room, seating lounge, cash wrap and tons of branded elements including a floating illuminated logo and bench seat. Our talented graphics team flexed their skills in several ways. They used a wide variety of substrates and fabrication approaches to create the sophisticated branded environment. Utilizing a unique architectural vinyl called DI-NOC, they wrapped each element with the adhesive backed product to create the matte black wood grain finish seen throughout.

One display was dedicated to the two new shoes born from the partnership. It featured illuminated vitrines and graphic write up on A Different Bounce. Floor graphics and a large branded photo-op wall rounded out the space. We built a custom New Balance | Bricks & Wood logo lockup light box. Placed on a vinyl wrapped wall, the branded element greeted visitors upon entry. And the yellow floating logo hanging over the DJ booth area added a great visual pop of color. Our client was incredibly happy with the product we provided. We look forward to working with them again in the future.
