Our talented graphics department manager Emily Rolph recently finished specialized training with 3M on their DI-NOC™ architectural finishes, resulting in her designation as a 3M Preferred Installer. This revolutionary product is changing the finishing game. With over 900 patterns, the design possibilities are endless. This durable and versatile adhesive backed product requires far less material and labor costs than traditional architectural finishes. Its use also limits downtime and construction waste – all big wins for the scenic design and fabrication industry. We have used it on several recent projects. As a 3M Preferred Installer, we are poised to use it even more effectively.

What is DI-NOC™?
3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes can help you quickly remodel and reuse new or existing surfaces. Available for a wide range of applications, these on-trend design finishes can be applied to surfaces such as walls, columns, doors and cabinets, including complex curved surfaces. The product line also includes finishes for use in exterior or high-traffic applications. 3M™ Comply™ Adhesive technology virtually eliminates air bubbles, simplifying and speeding up the application process. DI-NOC™ has excellent durability compared to traditional interior surface materials. It is resistant to common stains, cleaners and disinfectants, and is easy to clean and maintain. As a 3M Preferred Installer, we have the skills to apply their library of over 900 finish patterns, mimicking everything from wood to metal to leather and stone.

What is a 3M Preferred Installer?
3M preferred installers are trained by 3M in specific product applications, including graphic films and vehicle wraps. We are officially designated as a 3M DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer. This training is designed to give installers the tools and techniques needed to confidently apply 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes in an interior/exterior design setting. After two days of training, installers are tested on what they have learned on day three. Passing the test confers the title of 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes Preferred Installer. Those designated will be listed on the 3M Installer Locator.
