Christie’s Private Sales sponsored Viral: Andy Warhol and the Image before the Internet Age, a pop-up exhibition held this June at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View as part of Andy Warhol at Christie’s, a multi-year, multi-platform partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. John Murray Productions, Inc. worked with Christie's to design, fabricate and install the exhibition walls and several display graphics within the museum's Hahn Auditorium. Forty reinforced 4' x 8' flats were fabricated in the shop to create the four 20' x 8' x 2' flat walls were built within the space and laid out like an X on the floor. The walls were then wrapped with bleached muslin to create the exhibition spaces for the Warhol art. Display lighting was installed to highlight the works, while information panels were placed in the corners of the room to give visitors a better understanding of the concept behind the exhibition.
