This Fall, John Murray Productions designed and fabricated the scenic environment for Service Source's Recurring Revenue Summit, held at the Solage Resort in Calistoga. The look was inspired by the famous Napa Valley wine region where the event was held, and featured a series of wine barrels appearing to emerge from a branded 11' x 24' center stage wall. Two flanking 6' x 10.5' custom screen surrounds composed of multicolored variegated pine panels with matching stage skirt added to the polished yet rustic look. The result transformed the 50' x 70' event space into a welcoming and inspiring environment where guests could discuss and learn about the topic of recurring revenue.
When Immersive Audio Visual approached us last minute with a complicated pixel mapping project for the 2014 Kaspersky Cyber Security Summit, we quickly hopped on board to create a dynamic projection surface. The set consisted of a 75' wide by 13' high flat wall with a center screen, and flanking walls covered with boxes of varying size that the projection team masterfully used as a backdrop for their set. The challenge came in building such a detailed projection surface within a very short period of time, but our crew managed to build the entire set in 2 days, coming to the rescue when another vendor fell through. The result was fantastic! Click on the video above to see the ship build, install and projection in action.
The biennial Nurses Convention took place this September at San Francisco's Marriott Marquis, and John Murray Productions, Inc. was brought on once again to provide the scenic environment for this year's Main Street theme. In collaboration with MetroMedia Productions, Inc. and BP Productions, we created an outdoor feel within the Yerba Buena level of the hotel by creating a Main Street America, complete with a local newspaper, internet cafe, technology library, medical center, and general store where guests could mingle and be educated on the Union cause. The main stage in the ballroom served as the Town Hall for the attendees throughout the event, transitioning to party zone in the evening where the nurses came to do karaoke and dance the evenings away. The Golden Gate level was also transformed for the Nurses' continuing education courses, with the Mission Tunnel acting as the Nurses Art Gallery where images of union members in action were displayed on two 8'x20' flatwalls. The 4 day event was designed to unite the nurses in their cause, with special guests Michael Moore and Governer Jerry Brown in attendance. Overall, the event was a huge success and the client extremely pleased with the outcome.
For the product launch of Paco Rabonne's new fragrance, 1 Million, John Murray Productions, Inc. worked in conjunction with Hunter Events to transform the penthouse suites at San Francisco's Clift Hotel. A custom built 10' x 7' x 4' vault featured mounted faux bouillon engraved with the 1 Million logo, as well as a life size safe used to showcase the new product. Surrounding gray drapery and accent lighting completed the polished look of the suite. The result was a simple yet sophisticated environment which succeeded in promoting the latest extension of the Paco Rabonne brand. Photos courtesy of Bay Area Event Photography.
