The Chevron STEM Zone made a stop in Washington D.C. for the 2014 USA Science and Engineering Festival, and paired with Techbridge to provide several interactive stations that promoted science, technology, engineering and math principles. The exhibits included a 3D printer, a hydrogen car racetrack, Studio C television broadcasting station and many more. JMP was very excited to be a part of this fantastic national event.
The National Nurses United held their annual Staff Nurse Assembly at the Marriott Wardham Park in Washington DC, and JMP collaborated with MetroMedia Productions, Inc, BP Productions and lighting director Tim Miller to ensure a successful event for the third year in a row. The event environments included a plenary set held in the grand ballroom of the hotel, as well as an entire exhibition hall featuring five separate booths designed to educate and promote the union's purpose. The conference's theme, Nurses Values for Our Nation, was made prevalent throughout the hotel in the form of banners, wall mounted graphics, and custom built plasma kiosk surrounds, creating the ideal environment for rallying the nurses around their cause. Our challenge came in designing, building and printing a diverse environment for a space located across country, but once again JMP proved themselves up for the challenge, exceeding expectations all around. The Nurses were extremely happy with the event, and we even received praise from the hotel for our dynamic transformation of the space.
One of the greatest benefits of working in our industry is the ability to partner with clients whose mission we stand behind. JMP is honored to work with National Nurses United for their annual conference, which took place in Washington DC this May. In conjunction with Metromedia Productions and lighting designer Tim Miller, JMP participated by transforming the International Terrace at the Washington Hilton into a nurses zone for networking, shopping, and education. We were also responsible for the scenic production of the various stages used for the general session and continuing education sessions. Click here to learn more about this fantastic event.
