Host Analytics, the leader in cloud-based financial applications, held their annual Host Analytics World conference at the SFO Marriott in Burlingame, and JMP partnered with Seamless Show Productions to design and produce the scenic environment for this year's event. The set for the general sessions consisted of a 35' wide truss arch, rigged with a combo of our translucent 2x2 tile set and custom printed tiles with the conference's logo and theme, The Future of Finance. The stage was flanked by our glo wall columns and two 9'x16' screens with hard surrounds, and finished with an upstage, up-lit cyclorama. The look and feel continued into the ballroom foyer where we installed window graphics, branded the registration area, and wrapped the escalator with vinyl graphics, resulting in a consistent brand image throughout the hotel.
This Fall, John Murray Productions designed and fabricated the scenic environment for Service Source's Recurring Revenue Summit, held at the Solage Resort in Calistoga. The look was inspired by the famous Napa Valley wine region where the event was held, and featured a series of wine barrels appearing to emerge from a branded 11' x 24' center stage wall. Two flanking 6' x 10.5' custom screen surrounds composed of multicolored variegated pine panels with matching stage skirt added to the polished yet rustic look. The result transformed the 50' x 70' event space into a welcoming and inspiring environment where guests could discuss and learn about the topic of recurring revenue.
For the 3rd year running John Murray Productions was proud to be the scenic designers for the Intuit Leadership Conference held at the Terranea Resort in Los Angeles.
The set included a unique 18' x 90' widescreen projection surface which featured a central backstage egress, created by the use of a blended two-part screen composed of front and rear projection. Two flanking 12'x18' curved sections were precisely built using our CNC router for pixel-mapping projected content while adding dimensionality to the set. The result was dynamic and bold, creating the ideal environment for the software giant's leadership conference.
DMA:2010, the annual conference hosted by the Direct Marketing Association, was held this October at Moscone Center in San Francisco. The global event focuses on all marketing channels, from traditional to digital, and is an excellent resource for all marketing professionals. John Murray Productions partnered with Presentation Services on what proved to be one of our most challenging productions to date. The set for the general session consisted of a custom made 126'x25' triple screen surround covered in seamless white muslin which doubled as a projection surface for lighting effects throughout the conference. The real challenge came in installing this behemoth stage set in the Moscone center which essentially consisted of a puzzle of 72 flatwalls in various sizes. The wall was installed in 2 segments, the first of which was flown on rigging points in the ceiling, and the second segment which was attached to the first once overhead. 130 linear feet of white muslin was stretched across the wall, and then cut creating windows for the screens. Three 15'x26' screens were then mounted within the seamless surround. JMP also provided custom circular staging and stage decor including an internally lit, color changing lectern with DMA branding, stage furniture, and carpet. Thanks to a hard working and prepared crew, we had a very smooth install and the overall effect was striking and dynamic, providing an entertaining environment for one of the largest marketing conferences in the world.
The 2010 California Democratic Convention was held at the Los Angeles Convention center this year, and John Murray Productions, Inc. worked with MetroMedia Productions to create the look for the event. The scenic production included custom fabricated table and screen surrounds, branded dimensional signage, and drapery. The convention was a huge success, and the client very happy. We look forward to working with them again next year on the annual convention.
