When Nike Training Club (NTC) launched their latest clothing line in December 2013, John Murray Productions, Inc. was brought in to fabricate a display highlighting some of the line's key items at a Nike Women's Event held at the San Francisco Mint building. The challenge came in designing, building and rigging the display with only a week's notice. The vault level of the historic SF Mint has several small underground vaults, where the freshly minted coins used to live. These rooms now make excellent event breakout spaces, and in this case, the perfect vignette for highlighting the product in a dramatic way. An uplit flat wall with dimensions logo provided the background for hanging mannequins and shards of plexiglass. Platforms highlighted with the NTC chartreuse and mirrored surfaces flanked the 29' x 17' room, and featured additional sports mannequins dressed in NTC gear. The effect was dramatic and modern, befitting of the fitness gear giant.
