Silicon Valley Bank @ Mexican Heritage Center

For the second year running, John Murray Productions provided scenic fabrication, printing and design services for Noldermedia, who produced the Silicon Valley Bank international broadcast at the Mexican Heritage center in San Jose.

Working in a proscenium theater allowed us to make the most of the theatrical rigging system and after studying a few different scenic approaches the final design included multiple layers of scenic, providing depth and creative lighting options.  Scenic included an upstage Cyc, borderless screens/graphics, 2x2 tiles including staff portrait photos and 2 large custom frame logos.

Bacon & Beer Classic Photo Op

When the producers of this bacon and craft brew festival were looking to amplify their brand through social media, they turned to JMP for an oversized version of their logo that they could take on the road and set up quickly at their events around the country.   Guests can't help but take a selfie in front of the giant Bacon and Beer logo.

What's there not to like about Bacon & Beer?

Our scenic shop fabricated these letters using a CNC foam cutter.  We then glued them together in groups of letters that could be handled by two crew.  The letters were then coated with a durable waterproof coating and painted to the clients specifications.  The whole package was loaded into two custom crates and shipped off to Levi's Stadium for the inaugural festival.

Levi's Lot at Super Bowl City

John Murray Productions, Inc. was honored to be a part of the team that brought the Levi's Lot to life at Super Bowl City in San Francisco.  After many months of planning and a couple months of remodeling, we were able to install this pop up store in three days in the center island on the Embarcadero at Market Street in The City.

The project repurposed 5 shipping containers that originally traveled with the Americas Cup.  With the help of the Levi's store design team and the marketing experts at MKTG we were able to capture the essence of Levi's brand in this temporary store that also housed a rooftop bar that turned out to be the most chill hang at Super Bowl City.  The installation was recognized by the Host Committee as the Best Overall Net Positive Activation.

Additional thanks to the Kubik installation team.  They are all stars in the event production world.

U.S. Open Chevron STEM Zone

Chevron partnered with the USGA at the 2013 U.S. Open held at the iconic Merion Golf course in Pennsylvania, and John Murray Productions, Inc. played a roll by fabricating and installing the Chevron STEM Zone in one of the tents available for tournament guests to visit. The U.S. Open is just one of the stops for the traveling STEM zone, a hands on learning experience designed to excite visitors about the science of golf, which makes it way to Atlanta for the Tour Championship before returning to California for the Nature Valley Open this fall.
