Stonehenge
The Stonehenge event was presented by Medikenetics in conjunction with the American Diabetes Association’s 68th scientific sessions.
JMP designed the stage for this event, and did all the fabrication for the set as well. This included a 30 ft. backdrop of a blue and purple sky with a fire wave on the left that had a flexible light structure in it, and numbers and words on the right. We constructed a 9 ft. high 3 dimensional stonehenge that stood proudly in the middle as a gateway, and we also painted the upstage backdrop of the sky.

Keyhole
JMP did the stage design for the Keyhole event, that included a painted 12′ x 15′ backdrop of hanging keys, a vinyl application, two screens and drape. This was another stage that was in conjunction with the Stonehenge conference.

Macy’s Gay Pride Float
JMP made Macy’s a wonderful parade float for the 2008’s Gay Pride parade on June 29th. The theme for this year was magical and mystical with the fairy godmother [Randy Stevens] turning ugly frogs into Macys Princes and Princesses.
The toadstools, princess dress structure and frogs were fabricated from scratch, along with providing printed graphics, a sound system, trailer, trees, and a lucky green fairy.

Golden Gate
John Murray Productions was contacted by Fernbacher Productions to provide design and installation of scenic elements and the stage set for Golden Gate Software’s 2008 Real Time User Conference. The challenge was to provide a unique, high-tech and dynamic stage set in a relatively small hotel ballroom for a client that was particular about the use of conference graphics. Our solution? We printed the conference graphics directly onto a combination of frosted and opaque plastic that was hung to resemble a video wall. Panels were hung off of 12″ box truss both in front of a back-lit cyclorama and downstage to the left and right of the lectern to give the stage added depth. The graphics were sized for precise vertical and horizontal spacing between the panels which met the needs of the client.

Wall-E
Pixar recently had a wrap party for their new movie Wall-E, held at the Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco. They had JMP design each of the separate environments for the event. These designs called for specialized fabrications including: the huge plant (which had leaves up to 8ft. long), a shadow sensored l.e.d. bar, bernoulli sculptures balancing ping pong balls, and the large fabric covered bucky ball.
